Pulmonary Hypertension Association (by Johanna A.)
Organization Mission: PHA is a nonprofit organization that relies on donations to fund its many programs, including the nation’s largest PH patient and caregiver support group network, lifesaving early diagnosis awareness and education programs, specialty care resources, and research to find ways to prevent and cure PH.
I would definitely donate to this charity because their money is well spent on what they advertise. In fact, the president of the Pulmonary Hypertension Association only gets 2% of the money gained. This is about $200,000 for his annual salary. For a large organization that gains millions of dollars, I think this is a reasonable amount for the president of the charity. Additionally, the organization has a score of 100 for accountability and transparency. This shows that they have nothing to hide from the people who donate. Lastly, the program spends about 81% of the money donated on programs and services it delivers. I believe this is a good amount of money spent on what they advertise. I understand that every charity has expenses; therefore, I believe that spending 19% of the money on other subjects is reasonable.

Blood Pressure UK ( Cazmere M.)
Organization mission: Blood Pressure UK is a charity solely dedicated to lowering the nation's blood pressure to prevent disability and death from stroke and heart disease. Their vision is that everyone will know their blood pressure numbers, in the same way that they know their height or weight, and take steps to keep them healthy both now and in the future.
I would donate to this charity because they use their money and time to carry out studies to gather more information and treatment on hypertension. I know the money would provide information and support to millions of people with high blood pressure in the UK. They are dedicated to enabling healthcare professionals in their treatment of high blood pressure. They do this by supplying accurate, reliable and supportive materials to help people who have been newly diagnosed and those who have lived with high blood pressure for a long time. They conduct studies to understand high blood pressure and its importance. Then they provide info to people and help them make long-lasting and effective changes to their lifestyle and get the most from their treatments and keep up with their medicines.
